IDEA Foundation Scholarship Recipients

I met two bright young ladies Abroo Fatima and Yasmeen Annan-Ahmed, recipients of this year’s DSFederal-IDEA Foundation Scholarship. Abroo and Yasmeen came to this country in 2018 and 2019, and yet within 18 months, they will be helping our society to advance through their knowledge and determination. I love that this country is an immigrant country. I love our Maryland school system!
 
Abroo is studying Information Sciences & Systems and is also interested in the business side of technology. Yasmeen is pursuing a degree in Public Health Science and hopes to enroll in a graduate program in Epidemiology after graduating.
